All of us at Village Carpets' Flooring America work and live in our community.  We feel very strongly about reaching out and helping those we can in our community.  We have been very blessed and appreciate the opportunity to give back to our community in a variety of ways:

• We support our local high school sports programs through advertising in seasonal programs.

• We provide flooring materials and labor on special projects for "The East County Posse" - a non-profit organization that provides items and services for people and families in need.  Our last project included installing a hard surface floor for a family whose son had become disabled.

• We recently partnered with Channel 10 for their annual "Extreme Makeover - Hometown Edition" where we provided and installed new flooring for a shelter for abused women and their children.

• We provided installation labor for new flooring that was installed at a project for "Rebuilding Together - San Diego".  A family in need received major changes in their home.  The project was headed by Marrokal Construction - with whom we have enjoyed a great relationship for many years.

• We made a generous donation at a recent fund raiser for "Looks Like Me" - a non-profit organization that provides custom-made wigs for children in San Diego who have suffered hair loss from treatments for cancer and other illnesses.
